Never say never when speaking of Security. Man has not, nor will he
ever, devised a level of security that won't eventually be overcome.
For this reason, the providers of PrivaComm will remain diligent in their
efforts to keep one (if not more) steps ahead of the code crackers.
That said...
The makers of PrivaComm have no need to toot their
own horn in relation to the encryption algorithms it uses., let the code
crackers figure it out on their own. We do our customers a service
by keeping quiet on that point. We will state, however, that
PrivaComm uses base encryption algorithms that are within the guidelines
of U.S. export laws., and yet maintain a level of encryption to confound
the masses.
Authentication
PrivaComm uses multi-level Authentication throughout its methods and
procedures to ensure against unauthorized access to the system.
Encryption
The base PrivaComm encryption algorithms are no less than 64-bits, to
allow PrivaComm to be used throughout an organization's global reach
without violating U.S. export laws. That's not to say that the
makers of PrivaComm will not work with organizations towards obtaining
proper Export licensing for >64-bit encrypted PrivaComm.
Keys
PrivaComm utilizes multiple keys of varying lengths (up to 4000-bits),
depending on the method and/or procedure. The Key to encryption is
the Key., the greater the key length and weight, the longer it takes code
crackers to decrypt., And then keep changing the key.
User IDs
Each PrivaComm user is given his/her User ID, Name, Password... which the
user keys into the client software settings. This information is
used to authenticate users and is not visible to the outside world with
encryption.
Updates
As technology and U.S. Export laws change, so shall PrivaComm.
PrivaComm customer will receive security builds and patches on an ongoing
basis to ensure that their PrivaComm Network remains secure and stands the
test of time.
